Logic
What is a good argument? What is a bad argument? How do you spot the difference?
These are the questions this course addresses, and the answers have supremely practical application in all aspects of life and to all careers.
Most of our progress in life can be effected by making good arguments - with these, we can persuade others to our point of view! This is the kind of skill that is particularly important in careers like advertising, sales, law, politics and many others. The ability to argue is the ultimate transferable skill. Equally, one needs to protect oneself from being persuaded by bad arguments - otherwise we engage in relationships that are inappropriate, buy products we don't need, and apply for jobs that don't suit us.
This course will teach children how to structure their thinking in a way that enhances their effectiveness. An invaluable life-skill!
