About Us
Brainchild is the, well, 'brainchild' of Paul Massey, a graduate in philosophy from the University of Southampton. Paul has his own 8 year old son, George, and understands the way a child flourishes when challenged to do stuff that's a bit different. George is excelling at school, ahead of expectations in all subjects. I believe that this happens because of a number of factors - he is at a great school, with excellent teachers. Also though, he is playing chess, and discussing politics and philosophy! This kind of stimulation raises IQ levels, encourages curious minds, and underpins and develops problem-solving skills like reasoning, and perhaps most importantly gives a child confidence.
Geniuses are not born - they are made - we are all hewn from the same materials. We believe that what kids (and indeed, adults) need is attention. With the right amount and kind of attention most kids can achieve their full potential.
