Paul and Kim will be conducting our classes.  Sports coaching for summer school is provided by Wright Sports - check out their site: www.wrightsports.co.uk/.  Paul will be ably assisted by Kim Smith, who, as well as being a philosophy graduate is also a qualified teacher - click here to learn more about Kim.

Additionally, and subject to demand, we shall be recruiting additional tutors in philosophy, politics, law and economics.   These are the kind of subjects we are interested in, because they have great 'instrumental' value (they are useful!), but also because they are not covered in the normal school curriculum.  Usually the earliest a child can study this kind of subject is at 'A' level, and we believe that a firm grounding in rudimentary principles and ideas will help a child develop analytic skills and become more aware of the world around them.

There are no exams or tests at Brainchild.    Testing is important, but not the whole story.  Rather, we believe in the intrinsic value of education - education for education's sake.  We believe that you will see the value of extra-curricular learning reflected in the way your child develops as an individual, and in their progress at 'regular' school.

We also offer a personalised tutoring service, that can be done on a one-to-one basis, or in small groups.  Please contact us for further information using our feedback form.
